The Colquhoun State Forest is located a short drive from Lakes Entrance and provides many fantastic tourist attractions such as car touring, bush walking, fishing, swimming and cycling.

There are three different walking track options that are suitable for all fitness levels and will take you on a scenic journey through nature and Indigenous and European history. Picnic Sites are available at two different locations making it the ideal day-trip destination during you holiday at BIG4 Whiters Holiday Village.

The Colquhoun Mountain Bike Park also has both a cross country track and pump track for mountain biking enthusiasts. 

The Stony Creek Trestle Bridge can be seen on the East Gippsland Rail Trail and you can also visit by road, turning off the main highway and following the 3km gravel road to the parking and picnic area. While you cannot walk on the 247m long, 20m high bridge, the views and walking trails below are worth the trip.
