Are you pet friendly?

No, BIG4 Whiters Holiday Village is not set up to accommodate pets. While we are not a pet friendly park, registered assistance animals are welcome; please contact our team if you are travelling with a service animal.

Do you have wheelchair accessible accommodation?

We offer one Garden Cottage that is wheelchair accessible with a ramp and an open wheel-in shower. We do not advertise as fully accessible because the toilet location prevents the installation of an assistance bar, so please call us on 03 5155 1343 to discuss if this unit meets your requirements.

Do you have WiFi internet access?

Yes, we provide limited free WiFi for guests in the park. The speed is good for checking social media and emails, but not suitable for streaming services like Netflix. There is a good WiFi signal around the reception building but we cannot guarantee WiFi in accommodation.

Yes we have three swimming pools at our holiday village. Pool hours are from 9am - 9:30pm daily. For safety, children under 12 must be supervised at all times and no glass, running, or diving is permitted in the pool areas.

Are your swimming pools heated during winter?

To ensure a warm swim regardless of the winter weather, we provide all our guests with complimentary entry passes to the nearby Lakes Entrance Aquadome. This gives you full access to their indoor heated pools, spa, and sauna facilities.

Do you have a playground?

Yes, we have a playground for children who are 12 years old and under. The playground is available during daylight hours and children must be supervised at all times.

Do I need to bring linen?

No, all linen is included for your stay. The beds are made for your arrival and bath towels are provided, however, we recommend bringing your own pool or beach towels.

Do you have laundry facilities?

Yes, we have a self-serve, coin-operated laundry open from 8am - 9:30pm. Please note that our Garden Cottages are the only accommodation type that includes private laundry facilities.

Exploring our five-acre holiday village is even more exciting on four wheels. Our pedal go-karts are a guest favourite, offering children and parents an active, memorable way to ride around our safe, enclosed park grounds in the heart of Lakes Entrance.

Our go-kart range

We have two styles of pedal karts available for hire to suit different ages and family setups:

2 x Chopper Double Karts – Designed with dual seating, making them ideal for two children to ride together or for a parent to pedal alongside a younger child.
2 x Single Karts – Built for older children to ride independently around the village paths.

Hire details and guidelines

Operating hours – Go-karts are available to hire daily from reception between 8:30am and 4:00pm.
Hire rates – $10.00 per hour per kart.
Age requirements – Suitable for children up to 14 years of age, or a parent riding with younger children in a double kart.
Safety and insurance – An insurance form must be completed at reception by an adult over 18 years prior to hire.
Bikes and scooters – Guests are also welcome to bring their own bicycles, push scooters, and safety helmets to enjoy on our internal sealed paths.

Pedal go-kart hire frequently asked questions

How do I hire a pedal go-kart during our stay?

Go-karts can be hired directly from our reception desk during office hours from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Karts are hired on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend heading to reception early during busy Victorian school holiday periods.

Can adults ride the pedal go-karts?

Our Chopper Double Karts allow a parent or guardian to ride alongside a younger child. Single karts and solo riding on double karts are reserved for children up to 14 years of age.

Are there safety rules for riding go-karts around the park?

Safety is our top priority. All riders must follow park speed limits and pedestrian awareness guidelines on our internal roadways. An adult aged 18 or over must complete the required insurance waiver form at reception before any kart is released.

Can we bring our own bikes and scooters to BIG4 Whiters?

Yes. Guests are welcome to bring their own pedal bikes, push scooters, and Australian standard helmets. Our wide, flat village pathways offer a safe and peaceful environment for kids to ride within the park grounds.
